摘要: Myocardial infarction (MI) leads to left ventricular (LV) remodeling, which the activation of growth factors such as vascular endothelial factor (VEGF). However, kinetics a factor9s receptor expression, VEGF, in living subject has not yet been described. We have developed PET tracer (64Cu-DOTA-VEGF121 [DOTA is 1,4,7,10-tetraazadodecane-N,N′,N″,N‴-tetraacetic acid]) image VEGF (VEGFR) expression after MI subject. Methods: In Sprague–Dawley rats, was induced by ligation coronary artery and confirmed ultrasound (n = 8). To study VEGFRs, 64Cu-DOTA-VEGF121 scans were performed before induction (baseline) on days 3, 10, 17, 24 MI. Sham-operated animals served controls 3). Results: origin signal CT coregistration autoradiography. VEGFR specificity probe vivo use 64Cu-DOTA-VEGFmutant. Baseline myocardial uptake minimal (0.30 ± 0.07 %ID/g [percentage injected dose per gram tissue]); it increased significantly (day 0.97 0.05 %ID/g; P
