摘要: Abstract Lippia alba (Mill.) NE Br. ex Britton & P. Wilson is an important medicinal herb widely distributed in Latin America. However, the success of this crop depends on several biotic and abiotic environmental factors, being water availability most limiting one. Therefore, present paper aimed to investigate responses one tetraploid (tet) two diploids (dip1 dip2) genotypes L. drought stress by using irrigation suspension under 0 (control) or 15 (stressful factor) days. The physiological parameters content, gas exchange, chlorophyll a fluorescence, photosynthetic pigments contents, qualitative profile volatile organic compounds were evaluated uni- multivariate statistical analyses. Drought negatively affected processes all specimens equally, regardless genotype. It was observed that photosynthesis impaired due stomatal limitation, which triggered low availability. In contrast, strongly determined genotype without influence. Furthermore, exchange fluorescence sensitive evaluate alba. More specifically conductance recommended be breeding programs focused tolerance, given its high contribution regulation.
