摘要: The reversible gelation of acrylonitrile–vinyl acetate copolymers in concentrated solutions has been studied with the use various solvents. These gel or become rigid time, but they fluid again when heated above a certain temperature called melting point. A technique involving mercury drops was developed to measure this transition. This evaluated as function solids level, water content solvent, and amount vinyl copolymer, dimethylacetamide being used solvent. Four other solvents were obtain limited data. Gel further by differential thermal analysis shear modulus measurements. results are discussed terms network formation solubility. x-ray diffraction imply that tie points crystalline.
