摘要: Myocardial T1 and T2 mapping are reliable diagnostic markers for the detection follow up of acute myocarditis. The aim this study was to compare performance current measurement approaches differentiate between myocarditis patients healthy individuals. Fifty with clinically defined 30 controls underwent cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR). relaxation times, left ventricular (LV) function, ratio, early gadolinium enhancement presence late (LGE) were analysed. Native as well extracellular volume fraction (ECV) measured entire LV myocardium (global), within midventricular short axis slice (mSAX), septal wall (ConSept), remote (remote). Receiver operating characteristics analysis performed performance. All revealed significantly higher native times ECV values in compared (p 0.050 all parameters). allow accurate irrespective approach used. Even measurements exclusively myocarditis, demonstrating diffuse involvement disease despite a mostly regional or patchy distribution pattern visible pathologies. global provides overall best both mapping.
