摘要: A method for the preparation of nanoparticles iron nitride powders is reported. Iron particles have been synthesised by two methods. In first, Fe(CO)5 was sonicated in a decane solution under gaseous mixture NH3 and H2 (3.5:1 molar ratio) at ca. 0 °C. The second based on nitriding sonochemically prepared amorphous 400 °C 4 h mixed stream NH3–H2(3.5:1 ratio). Different products were obtained cases. product sonication Fe2–3N small quantity oxide. X-ray diffraction patterns case showed Fe4N as main product. magnetic properties both measured. coercive force HC 190 Oe, saturation magnetization sigma;s 170 emu g–1 .
