Content zooming and information exploration for web and mobile maps. Adaptation of real-time map generalisation to the information seeking strategies of web and mobile users

摘要: In the context of development web and mobile map applications with capabilities for generalisation abstraction, we propose a methodology spatial information exploration that uses technique term content zooming to change degree abstraction independently scale. Content allows overriding effects ‘standard’ generalisation, focusing on optimised representation aid seeking task user. It is thus complementary generalisation.
