摘要: Formation of compositional gradient in Al/Al3Ti Functionally graded materials (FGMs) fabricated by the centrifugal method (CM) depends mainly on force and processing temperature. In this study, a novel method, reaction mixed-powder (RCMPM), was proposed to fabricate FGMs under fixed (G=80). The effects RCMPM temperature formation Al3Ti intermetallics, its morphology distribution have been investigated. Fine granular were observed at relatively lower while known coarse platelet-like particles could be achieved higher casting temperatures. Moreover, Ti3Al intermetallics compound unreacted Ti phases are also along with particles. addition, size their volume fraction showed significant change when processed different temperatures relative liquidus master alloy.
