摘要: This study examines the thalamo-cortical projections to most superficial neocortical layers in hedgehog (Erinaceus europaeus) after small injections of horseradish peroxidase and conjugated wheat germ agglutinin somato-sensory cortex. The were limited I, II upper parts layer III/IV. Retrogradely labeled cells plotted serial sections through thalamus. Injections cortex gave a pattern elongated columns cells, extending rostro-caudally nucleus ventralis thalami. In neocortex, fibers extended for considerable distances running horizontally I. Complementary observations demonstrate thalamic origin certain, coarse ascending bundles observed previously Golgi preparations hedgehog. It is concluded that major cortical input I originates principal (relay) nuclei. After cortex, retrogradely also found ventro-medialis thalami very few zone medial corresponding intralaminar contributions this latter system seem be comparison with other mammals.
