摘要: Abstract The retinoid X receptor (RXR) is a member of the nuclear (NR) superfamily that occupies central position among other NRs by forming both homodimers and heterodimers with representatives family. RXR shares similar structural domains members NRs. major differences in subtypes isoforms are AB region. To date, there have been no data concerning molecular properties region hRXRγ (AB_hRXG). Here, we describe biochemical biophysical recombinant AB_hRXG. results indicate AB_hRXG shows functional characteristics pre-molten globule-like (PMG-like) group intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) also has significant propensity for folding. We present first experimental evidence showing promotes formation liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS).
