摘要: The paper presents an original method for the evaluation of bark structure characteristics tree trunks on basis terrestrial laser scanning data. Measurements testing proposed were performed in laboratory conditions pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) and oak (Quercus robur L.). scanner used was a FARO Focus 3D. carried out two variants natural (variant I: samples Oak-I, Pine-I) wrapped foil II: Oak-II, Pine-II). point clouds obtained combined into three-dimensional (3D) model, filtered, exported to *.xyz format SCENE (v. 5×) software provided by FARO. For calculation geoprocessing Tree Trunk Bark Structure Model (TTBSM) operating ArcGIS environment developed. mean height factor (BHF) calculated be 0.39 cm 0.37 cm, while values 0.27 0.25 respectively. BHF varied range 0.26–0.28 0.24–0.26 oak, respectively, 0.38–0.46 0.35–0.38 effect flow resistance evaluated measuring trough proved significant. coefficient average 20% higher than those foil-wrapped.
