摘要: The experience of pregnancy is often accompanied by uncertainties with which mothers somehow have to cope. Uncertainty may be related the health mother or baby, how labor will experienced, as well longer-range issues, such financial concerns and worries about being a good parent. Drawing on Babrow's (1992, 2007) PI (problematic integration) theory, this article explores struggles that pregnant face role their practitioners play in these dilemmas. Particularly, project examines obstetricians midwives an effort discern providers differ confrontation mothers' uncertainties.
