摘要: The aim of this study is to test whether spectra crown canopy leaves various tropical mangrove species measured under laboratory conditions contain sufficient spectral information for discriminating mangroves at the level. This laboratory-level one most important prerequisites future use airborne and satellite hyperspectral sensors studies. First, responses 16 Thai (2151 bands between 350 nm 2500 nm) were recorded from leaves, using a spectrometer conditions. Next, statistically tested one-way ANOVA see they significantly differ every location. Finally, separability each pair was quantified Jeffries?Matusita (J?M) distance measure. It turned out that different locations, with 95% confidence level (p <0.05). total number had p-values less than 0.05 1941, which 477 99% <0.01). Moreover, J?M indices calculated all pairs illustrated spectrally separable except comprised members Rhizophoraceae. Although difficulties Rhizophoraceae are expected, overall result encourages further investigations into on-board can be separated when field taken account.
