摘要: miR-21 is a microRNA (miRNA) frequently overexpressed in human cancers. Here we show that upregulated both vitro and vivo by oncogenic Ras, thus linking this miRNA to one of the most activated oncogenes Ras regulation occurs with delayed kinetic requires at least two downstream pathways. A screen thyroid cancers non-small-cell lung for expression reveals it mainly anaplastic carcinomas, aggressive form cancer, whereas its overexpression appears be inversely correlated tumor progression. We also LNA directed against slows down growth mice. Consistently, search mRNAs downregulated shows an enrichment encoding cell cycle checkpoints regulators, suggesting important role Ras-induced proliferation.
