摘要: The mixed and fluid film lubrication characteristics of plain journal bearings with shape changed by wear are numerically examined. A model that employs both the asperity-contact mechanism proposed Greenwood Williamson the average flow Patir Cheng includes effects adsorbed elastic deformation is applied. Considering roughness interaction, dent depth and operating conditions on loci center, hydrodynamic pressures, friction, leakage discussed. following conclusions are drawn. In regime, bearing noticeably influences contact pressures. For smaller dents, contact pressure frictional coefficient reduce. regimes, increase for larger dents. Furthermore, as increases Sommerfeld number decreases, rate continuously increases.
