摘要: Much has been written about the current crisis in UK general practice.1 GPs report finding their job more stressful than other countries2 and reasons for pressures primary care have well rehearsed literature media, including management of patients with increasingly complex needs expectations, increasing numbers face-to-face consultations, work that is intense, longer working days.3 Compounding these pressures, GP practices are it difficult to recruit retain GPs, resulting a concurrent workforce crisis.1 This all contributing destabilisation traditional structure based on partnership model.1,4,5 The King’s Fund state English practice1 found training intended as locums (44%) or salaried doctors (48%) after qualification, only 3% intending partners.
