Influence of Fluorine on the Electrochemical Performance of Spinel LiMn2 − y − z Li y Zn z O4 − η F η Cathodes

摘要: Spinel LiMn 2-y-z Li y Zn z O 4-η5 F η (0 ≤ 0.1, 0 and 0.18) cathodes have been synthesized by solid-state reactions at 800°C, employing ZnF 2 to prepare the oxyfluorides ZnO oxides. Although 4 samples show a significant improvement in electrochemical performance compared , oxyfluoride 4-η exhibit better capacity retention with an increase of up 10 mAh/g corresponding oxide analogs . The superior performances are found be due suppression manganese dissolution, smaller lattice parameter difference Aa between two cubic phases formed during charge-discharge process, lower microstrain, maintenance good crystallinity cycling.
