摘要: The main objective of this review article is to overcome or improve the problems related with curcumin help new technologies modifications make a promising therapeutic agent which gives good response. Curcumin, known natural polyphenolic compound obtained from dietary spice turmeric, possesses pharmacologic effects including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and many other activities. Clinical trials   on have shown its safety efficacy even at high doses in humans. But inspite that it shows poor bioavailability (oral bioavailability) one major regarding curcumin. There are reasons contributing low plasma tissue levels appear be due absorption, rapid metabolism, systemic elimination. To curcumin, numbers approaches been undertaken. These involve, first, use adjuvant like piperine interferes glucuronidation; second, liposomal curcumin; third, nanoparticles; fourth, phospholipids complex; fifth, structural analogues
