摘要: Daily, photometric, full-disk digital solar images have been taken at the San Fernando Observatory (SFO) in several wavelengths for more than 10 years. This work describes a project to evaluate and remove effects of scattered light from images, while preserving photometry. We model both limb point-spread function analytically, algorithm uses least-squares fitting technique that does not require artificial extension data. Image restoration is carried out using standard techniques, with exception method estimating non-white noise component. show "sunspots" "faculae" blurring are greater near limb, but restorations recover most actual contrast surface features. Images two different telescopes, after restoration, feature contrasts better agreement before restoration. In addition, measured umbral approximately -90% on restored 6723 A expected value temperatures 3000 K. Modeling irradiance instead original 3 month period 1988 shows no advantage if we use variations sunspot deficit facular excess variations. However, new parameter, total derived broadband red can during this an R2 0.96.
