摘要: X-ray diffraction (XRD) and magnetization measurements were employed to investigate the effect of Mn substitution for Co on structure magnetic properties Y2Co17−xMnx compounds with x=0–8. XRD patterns show that all samples are single phase a hexagonal Th2Ni17-type structure. The in leads monotonic increase unit cell volume. saturation remains nearly constant x⩽3, then decreases quickly increasing content; this can be explained by change 3d energy band an electron transfer process.
