摘要: Abstract The nature and the extent of degradation poly(hydroxy ether bisphenol-A) phenoxy resin were analysed by thermogravimetry (TGA/DTGA) under nitrogen air atmosphere. Decomposition kinetics elucidated according to Flynn–Wall–Ozawa, Friedman Kissinger methods. evolved gases during inspected a analyser coupled with Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (TGA/FTIR) also TGA Mass (TGA/MS). spectra showed that chemical species in decomposition very similar those assigned from (water, methane, CO, CO 2 , phenol, acetone, etc.). However, these appear different amount at temperatures both atmospheres. FTIR analysis products water methane beginning products, indicating is initiated dehydration cleavage C–CH 3 bond bisphenol-A unit resin. After this initial stage, random chain scission main pathway. Nevertheless, atmosphere, previously complete obtaining fundamentally water, formation an insulated surface layer crosslinked structures has been proposed.
