ON-LINE MONITOR FOR BIODIESEL PRODUCTION

摘要: A study was made of the transesterification reaction soybean oil by means methanol, using sodium hydroxide as catalyst. Under same experiment parameters: alcohol/oil ratio 15% (15g / 100g), catalyst concentration 0.5 wt % , stirring speeds 500rpm, temperature 70°C, time 2 hours, conductivity, pH value and transmittance reactants were measured continuously during transesterification. The results revealed that could be taken an indicator to estimate conversion rate fatty acid methylesters (FAME or biodiesel). relationship between transmission coefficient biodiesel can described 32 農業機械學刊 第15卷 第2期 2006年6月 =0.125 16990 6566.5 where y is x reactant defined within 0.409~0.522.
