摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate what extent changes in speech after C-IMRT treatment are related mean doses the tongue and velopharynx (VP). In 34 patients with advanced hypopharyngeal, nasopharyngeal, or oropharyngeal cancer, from pretreatment 10 weeks 1 year posttreatment were correlated base (BOT), oral cavity (OC) tonsillar fossa/soft palate Differences anteroposterior position, dorsoventral degree pharynx constriction, grooving, strength, nasality, laryngeal rise, assessed by acoustic three sounds that depend on a (post-) alveolar closure narrowing (/t/, /s/, /z/), palate/pharyngeal (/l/, /r/, /u/), vowel /a/ at comfortable highest pitch. Acoustically positioning, shape, velopharyngeal elevation significantly velopharynx. dose BOT predicted positioning pre- 10-weeks posttreatment. From 1-year, BOT, OC, VP height, palatalization, pharyngeal constriction. Changes outcome indicates motility, balance between agonist antagonist muscle forces change radiotherapy.
