Tumors of the reproductive tract of sheep and goats: A review of the current literature and a report of vaginal fibroma in an Awassi ewe.

摘要: Aims This study aimed to provide a summary of all online available literature published clinical and histopathological data regarding tumors affecting the reproductive tract female sheep goats. In addition, detailed description history, findings, gross findings one case vaginal fibroma in an adult Awassi is provided for first time. Materials Methods Internet search engines such as PubMed, ResearchGate, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar were used collect articles refereed journals from 2000 2018 tumor-like lesions involving ewes does. Results There are six papers nine goats reporting various malignant non-malignant different parts tract. The most commonly diagnosed leiomyoma (six cases), adenocarcinoma leiomyosarcoma (three adenoma (one case), squamous cell carcinoma metastatic signet ring case). common sites tumor formation uterus (10 vulva/vagina (five ovaries (four cervix Bartholin's gland All affected animals aged females (older than 3 years age). both does, frequently reported symptoms chronic weight loss, pyometra, hydrometra, bleeding, abnormal discharges, straining, pollakisurie, ascites, abdominal distension. Conclusions Tumors organs not uncommon should be considered differential diagnoses cases with poor function.
