摘要: Radiotherapy is an important element in cancer treatment, both for cure and palliation. Whilst performance measurement improvement are major concerns of most radiotherapy departments, measuring managing the these departments particularly challenging. This article critically explores use Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) formative evaluation services. Following a review literature, conceptual framework assessment developed its illustrated. Our empirical analysis uses mostly data from 2007 compares fairness access to services, technical efficiency, clinical effectiveness across English strategic health authorities. The shows that whilst application DEA this context meets some difficulties, it also has great potential by providing valuable information improve especially if used mode.
