摘要: Abstract Objective Measurement tools such as surveys assessing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors need to be theoretically consistent with interventions. The purpose of this article is describe the first steps in process constructing a based set measures that currently used three trials reduce liver cancer disparities. Methods Guided by common theoretical formulation—the Health Behavior Framework—we identified constructs relevant for control research, compiled items from previous studies constructed new items, translated pilot tested collaboration members Vietnamese, Korean, Hmong communities. Results We questionnaires Hmong, Korean languages are slightly different due cultural language nuances but contain core identical Framework. Initial research demonstrates easily understood they generally related hepatitis B screening expected. Conclusions Researchers encouraged follow similar creating theory-based assessment tools. Measuring can advance other health facilitating more systematic comparison findings across populations intervention strategies.
