摘要: Abstract The use of recycled bitumen (such as the Recycled Asphalt Pavement, RAP) in production new pavements is becoming an important issue, owing to potential economic and environmental benefits derivable from replacement virgin materials with ones. Nevertheless, properties RAP negatively affect final behavior pavement, reducing, therefore, its practical use. With aim modifying behavior, rejuvenating additives are often used; anyway, their effects have be carefully studied, according both bitumen. In this work, simulated aged bitumens were used test two agents; rheological fundamental tests steady dynamic condition carried out a wide range temperature using shear extensional kinematic conditions investigating material additive at high low temperature. Moreover, microstructure was investigated Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) better understand change behavior. characterization has shown itself able evidence changes caused by long- short-term aging. positive highlighted results confirmed NMR showing that most promising agent restore structure, based on asphaltene maltene phases, very similar those system material.
