摘要: In situ measurements are a pivotal extension of conventional transmission electron microscopy (TEM). By means the shape memory alloy NiTi thin film Functional Grids were produced for in straining as alternative or at least complement expensive commercial holders. Due to martensite-austenite transition temperature effects can be observed by use customary heating holders range 50 100°C. The grids diversified designs fit different strain situations. Micro tensile tests performed and compared with finite element simulations estimate applied forces on sample predict functionality grid designs. As first example this Grid technology, we demonstrate impact applying network ZnO tetrapods.
