Avifauna of Karlapat Wildlife Sanctuary, Southern Orissa, India

摘要: Birds of Karlapat Wildlife Sanctuary were studied from January 2009 to June 2009, based on observational method. A total 123 birds recorded representing 49 families 15 orders. Nine species are migrant, which six winter visitor and three summer visitor. They also 11 water here. The major factors, detrimental the Sanctuary, identified includes proposal lease a part land an industry, use poison for fishing, forest fire, encroachment hunting. Recommendations better management habitat have been provided.
