摘要: Abstract The phase transitions of n-C22H46 have been measured by using a high resolution and super-sensitive DSC. crystal–rotator transition the rotator–melt were observed both in heating cooling run, although rotator–rotator was only run. A new peak found at about 3 K above ‘bulk’ melting temperature. It is considered to be due order–disorder monolayer on surface liquid alkane. When rate below 0.1 mK s−1, solidification separated give another transition.
