摘要: A method for supporting the selection of communication peers in an overlay network, wherein a multitude participate said network by providing certain pieces information, and at least one peer- to-peer server - tracker is provided that maintains database participating information possessed them, tracker, upon receiving query regarding specific piece from peer requesting client -, answers list includes subset all possessing requested characterized entity being located such it receives messages directed to stamps topological location into any tracker. Furthermore, corresponding system disclosed.
