摘要: We detected a compound previously unreported in the atmosphere, trifluoromethyl sulfur pentafluoride (SF5CF3). Measurements of its infrared absorption cross section show SF5CF3 to have radiative forcing 0.57 watt per square meter parts billion. This is largest forcing, on molecule basis, any gas found atmosphere date. Antarctic firn measurements it grown from near zero late 1960s about 0.12 part trillion 1999. It presently growing by 0.008 year, or 6% year. Stratospheric profiles suggest that long-lived (on order 1000 years).
