摘要: In this paper, we investigated composition and trait turnover among fish assemblages in reservoirs distributed across major Brazilian basins, order to contrast taxonomic functional investigate their respective drivers. We the hypothesis that reservoir present, on a continental scale, divergent species compositions but with similar set of traits. Species lists traits were compiled from 79 located Amazon, Sao Francisco, Parana Atlantic basins. observed considerable variation reservoirs, higher intra-basin similarity. Taxonomic ranged between 0 1 (0.44 ± 0.22 SD), 0.91 (0.37 ± 0.19); correlated positively turnover, showed lower values. Observed values did not differ null expectations, indicating lack convergence. detected significant effects basin, longitude, latitude elevation values, presence non-native was associated either homogenization or differentiation patterns. Our results indicated is heterogeneous impoundments, providing little support are homogenized scale. probably respond multiple spatial, environmental biogeographic factors.
