摘要: Ultrafast absorption spectroscopy with 20-fs resolution was applied to study primary charge separation in spinach photosystem II (PSII) reaction center (RC) and PSII core complex (RC integral antenna) upon excitation at maximum wavelength 700–710 nm 278 K. It found that the initial between P680* ChlD1 (Chl-670) takes place a time constant of ∼1 ps formation charge-separated state an admixture of: P680*(1−δ) (P680δ+1ChlD1δ−), where δ ∼ 0.5. The subsequent electron transfer from P680δ+ChlD1δ− pheophytin (Pheo) occurs within 13 is accompanied by relaxation band 670 (ChlD1δ−) bleaching PheoD1 bands 420, 545, 680 development Pheoband 460 nm. Further QA 250 accordance earlier data. spectra P680+ Pheo− include nm; this indicates Chl-670 intermediate P680 Pheo. Stimulated emission kinetics 685 demonstrate existence two decaying components constants ∼13 due P680+PheoD1−, respectively.
