Atomic beam magnetic resonance investigations in the 2 p 2 3 P ground multiplet of the stable carbon isotopes 12 C and 13 C

摘要: The hyperfine structure seperations Δv andgJ-factors have been measured in the 2p23P states of13C(I=1/2) and12C(I=0), respectively, using atomic beam magnetic resonance method. results are Δv(3P1,13C)=4.200 (25) MHz, Δv(3P2,13C)=372.593 MHz,gJ(3P1,12C)=1.501052 (13), andgJ(3P2,12C)=1.501039 (15). After applying corrections due to perturbations by neighbouring fine levels one deduces constants of dipole interactionA(3P1,13C)=+2.838 (17) A(3P2,13C)=+149.055 (10) MHz. No signs theA-factors were determined experiment; they follow from known positive sign nuclear moment μI of13C. CombiningA(3P2,13C) with other measurements on11C, yields μI(11C)=−0.964 (1) nm.
