摘要: Larvae and pupae of the obligatorily myrmecophilous Phengaris (Maculinea) arion were found for first time in nests Myrmica rugulosa, M. hellenica schencki at a site eastern Poland. sabuleti, commonly considered as major host butterfly whose abundance is vital survival P. populations, was shown to be very rare not used. Estimated mean density low, which suggests that relatively vast areas are necessary support viable population similar sandy habitats. This may explain decline rarity whole region, even though its relationships with ants seem specific there.
