摘要: CD31 is a 130,000 MW cell-surface glycoprotein expressed on endothelial cells, polymorphonuclear leucocytes, monocytes and about 50% of peripheral blood lymphocytes, it has been proposed that plays role in transendothelial migration. If involved transmigration lymphocytes then the proportion CD31+ cells should be increased lymphocyte population which crossed an monolayer. This was tested using two types, namely human umbilical vein (HUVEC) rat high venule (RHEV) cells. As control, CD45RA CD45RO expression also determined since there correlation between bearing these isoforms different migratory patterns. Double labelling techniques showed close expression. With HUVEC monolayers, transmigrated depleted depletion even more marked if monolayers had stimulated with interleukin-1 beta (IL-1 beta). The migrated were enriched for CD31-CD45RO+ but CD31+CD45RA+ In addition, populations by immunopanning able to migrate across monolayers. Taken together data suggest not necessary and, anything, negatively correlated transmigration. second cell type, RHEV no consistent change population, suggesting neither positive nor negative However, both marker CD45RO. conclusion, surface types used this study, enrichment CD45RO+ seen population.
