摘要: Adsorption and Simulated Moving Bed (SMB) processes can be used to purify many chemicals, biochemicals, pharmaceuticals. SMB usually have significantly higher yield, throughput, lower eluent consumption than batch chromatography. Conventional systems been developed for binary separations. Many major products, however, need purified from complex multicomponent mixtures. We comprehensive new technologies separation, which include design methods, versatile equipment, software tools process design, simulation, optimization. The tested the separation of various biochemicals pharmaceuticals, are expected reduce cost development purification. This article introduces fundamental principles investigates splitting strategies method Insulin purification a ternary mixture is as an example. Rate model simulations show that standing wave ensure high purity yield all strategies. also mass transfer effects must considered in meet requirements achieve yields. A decoupled regeneration strategy avoid gel fouling, long-term experiment proves with insulin stable.
