摘要: Publisher Summary Viruses known to be transmitted by aphids in the nonpersistent, noncirculative manner include members of Alfamovirus, Carlavirus, Cucumovirus, Fabavirus, and Potyvirus genera. The chapter focuses on potyviruses Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV). It discusses determinants transmissibility, sites mechanisms acquisition, retention. Most understanding nonpersistent transmission has come from genetic biochemical studies potyviruses. Specificity viruses does not seem as marked it is with those circulatively transmitted. Several have examined specificity Myzus persicae ( M. ) using various combinations purified virions partially virion helper components (HCs) acquired through membranes.
