摘要: The swelling effect in hydrogel bodies or sponge-like porous (SPB) used a specific stormwater storage concept of the down-flow type is considered. A macroscopic model proposed, which water assumed to penetrate into by diffusion described equations together with free-moving boundary separating interface between and hydrogel. Such problem belongs certain class problems called Stefan-problems. main objective this contribution compare how theoretical total amount absorbed modified inclusion swelling, when compared previously studied SPB devices analyzed only for diffusion. results can be summarized terms geometrical dimensions device magnitude coefficient D. variables influence both maximum possible volume time reach that volume. D influences rate growth stored water. initial grows (Dt) until steady state reached approaches zero. In all cases considered, general increases an 14%.
