摘要: Forster-type resonance energy transfer (FRET) is demonstrated in a luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) material containing two air-stable, high quantum yield laser dyes PMMA matrix. The concentration regime surrounding the Forster critical distance determined for system. Two-dye LSC films employing FRET are shown to increase absorption of air mass 1.5 irradiance without affecting self properties film. impact nonradiative efficiency on performance experimentally and evidence presented suggesting higher two-dye have reduced waveguide transport losses under excitation shorter wavelength dye when compared less concentrated same optical density. thus film fluorescence spectra color determination investigated be minimal. accurate through use standard subtractive schemes that consider only absorption, wide tunability achievable model, with as few three appropriately absorbing dyes.
