On the Radiative Transfer Model for Soil Moisture across Space, Time and Hydro-Climates

摘要: A framework is proposed for understanding the efficacy of microwave radiative transfer model (RTM) soil moisture with different support scales, seasonality (time), hydroclimates, and aggregation (scaling) methods. In this paper, sensitivity brightness temperature TB (H- V-polarization) to physical variables (soil moisture, texture, surface roughness, temperature, vegetation characteristics) studied. Our results indicate that (V- or H-polarization) determined by upscaling method heterogeneity observed in variables. Under higher heterogeneity, roughness followed a logarithmic function an increasing scale, while exponential under lower heterogeneity. Surface always all conditions.
