4-Hydroxy-7,8-dihydro-beta-ionone and isomeric megastigma-6,8-dien-4-ones: new C13 norisoprenoids in quince (Cydonia oblonga, Mill.) fruit

摘要: In a polar fraction of an extract obtained from quince fruit juice capillary gas chromatography and chromatography-mass spectrometry revealed the occurrence 4-hydroxy-7,8-dihydro-β-ionone. Biomimetic studies with another 4-oxygenated ionone derivative fruit, were carried out. Heat treatment this diol gave number volatile C 13 norisoprenoids. After preparative HPLC separation 1 H NMR analyses structure main isomer. This component was also detected as trace constituent in
