摘要: Ratcheting fatigue behavior of different alloys and their weld joints has been a topic interest in the past few decades. However, little information is available about ratcheting response zones, when composite section subjected to asymmetric loading cycle. This work aims at understanding local various zones dissimilar metal (DMW) joint. Digital image correlation technique used measure strain components DMW Accumulation joint was found be different, harder region accumulating negligible softer larger strain. Fatigue crack initiation or neck formation occurred soft owing high accumulation.
