摘要: Underground coal gasification (UCG) is the in-situ conversion of deep underground to synthesis gas for heating, chemical manufacturing and power generation. UCG has been subject extensive pilot testing but technical environmental concerns remain, not least its greenhouse emissions. An attractive solution combine with CO2 capture storage (CCS) so that generated from combustion re-injected back in cavities, adjacent unmineable seams stressed strata. Thereby emissions are eliminated reserves become a new source energy supply. This paper reviews recent global development projects, research progress technology developments economic feasibility UCG-CCS EU projects.
