Seventeen patients who spontaneous menopause administered conjugated estrogen medroxyprogesterone acetate (group A), others given 17beta-estradiol only B). Peripheral lymphocytes obtained at beginning end third month therapy. The mean age 50. 67+/-4.79. There statistically significant differences terms SCE frequencies between pre- posttreatment levels both groups (p<0.001 p=0.003, respectively). It is likely that estrogens or without progesterone have an effect increased this issue may be evidence for potential malignancies.
