摘要: Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes deaths, constituting a major public health concern. Epidemiologic studies have revealed number risk factors for colorectal including age, family history colon or infl ammatory bowel disease, smoking, alcohol consumption, obesity, and diet. Mutations in MSH2 MLH2 genes are associated with many published to date. The aim presented study was assess associations MLH1 mutations Polish population, using PCR-RFLP method. exon 1 both were detected method patients healthy individuals. There no statistical diff erences presence between groups. not suitable detection mutant alleles present less than 5-10% wild-type alleles. This probably reason why study, analysis did allow fi nding genetic rst exons individuals those cancer. It reasonable continue based on RFLP-PCR, because costs this low compared sequencing
