摘要: Abstract The emission spectral lines of underwater laser-induced plasma (LIP) are often influenced by a strong self-absorption effect. It is found that the long-short double-pulse breakdown spectroscopy (LS-DP-LIBS) able to generate Fraunhofer-type signal from submerged solid samples. In this work, manganese concentrations in steel samples quantitatively analyzed using signal. We firstly show generated LS-DP-LIBS. parameters absorption briefly presented and discussed. Then, line at Mn I 403.307 nm used calculate optical density (OD), which parameter for evaluating absorbance. A calibration curve established OD values certified ten results suggest there linear relationship between concentrations. Therefore, we have further conducted two prediction tests based on measurement relative error less than 10%, demonstrates worthy study quantitative
