摘要: The glandular epithelial cells of the human prostate gland have unique capability and function accumulating highest zinc levels any soft tissue in body. Zinc accumulation is regulated by prolactin testosterone; however, little information available concerning mechanisms associated with its regulation cells. In present studies uptake were determined malignant cell lines LNCaP PC-3. results demonstrate that PC-3 possess high zinc. both types stimulated physiological concentrations testosterone. reveal these contain a rapid process indicative plasma membrane transporter. Initial kinetic effective under conditions reflect total mobile circulation. Correspondingly, genetic expression ZIP family transporter transport treatment testosterone, which possibly result theZIP-type gene. These zinc-accumulating characteristics are specific for support concept express hormone-responsive, membrane-associated, gene their ability to accumulate levels.
