摘要: Objective: In recent years there has been an increase in infections caused by gram-positive cocci critical patients, together with a rapid development of resistance to the antibiotics which are normally used treat them. The objective is prepare antibiotic treatment guide for most common infections caused by gram positive patients. This will help the decision-making process regarding care such patients. Method: Experts from two scientific societies worked together to consensus document. They were members the Study Group on Infections Critical Patients (GEIPC), part of Spanish Society Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC), Working (GTEI), belonging Intensive Care Medicine and Coronary Units (SEMICYUC). There was systematic review the literature published up September 2006 this type of infections antibiotic treatments marketed that date. An evidence grading system applied according strength of the recommendation (categories A, B or C) level evidence (categories I, II III). Recommendations given if there was among experts both societies. Results: regimens recommended treating infections presented the form tables, showing grade. Alternatives were allergic basis supporting the aforementioned recommendations explained within text and the references upon they are based cited. Conclusions: A summary evidence-based practical guide treatment cocci in patients presented.
