摘要: Abstract Background Failure of endodontic treatment is usually due to an inadequate disinfection the root canal system. Enterococcus faecalis has been widely used as a valuable microbiological marker for in-vitro studies because its ability colonize in biofilm like style canals, invading dentinal tubules and resistance some treatments. The aim this study was investigate antibacterial effects two methods photodynamic therapy using light emitting diode lamp (LED lamp, 630 nm) laser (810 nm) on E. biofilms anterior extracted human teeth. Methods Fifty six single-rooted teeth were study. After routine cleansing, shaping sterilization, incubated with period weeks. Teeth then divided into experimental groups (nu = 23) control (nu = 5). one group exposed (810 nm), other samples LED (630 nm). Intracanal bacterial sampling done, survival rate evaluated each group. Results Colony Forming Unit (CFU) (log 10 CFUs = 4.88 ± 0.82) significantly lower than (log CFUs = 5.49 ± 0.71) ( p value = 0.021). CFUs positive (Log 10 CFUs = 10.96 ± 0.44) higher p ˂ 0.001). No colony found negative Conclusion results research show that could be effective supplement disinfection. PDT more 810 nm reducing
